It's so nice when you find a random artist on the Internet who manages to truly move you. This is what happened when I first heard Sam Growley's "Underground". It caught me off guard as I wasn't prepared for those 4 minutes and 16 seconds.
The young indie artist from Australia seems to be at the start of his career, but that track is one of the most beautiful things I've heard in a while. I really love the raw sound of the tune and one can tell this was probably recorded in his bedroom, which actually sometimes is much nicer feel to anything professionally recorded.
The track is the kind of sound one would play when walking alone on a cold Autumn day. Everything from the smooth progression and instruments introduction to the build up towards the end - it just feels... right. Sam, thank you for this!
