"Love Jones" really reminds me of late 90s and early 2000's underground Hip Hop by virtue of the soulful nature of Sadiva's boom bap.

The track starts off with a steady pace, and it's the presence of the drums which rhythmically really bring the track to life with its punchy kick and snare that seamlessly cuts through the mix like a sharp razor. My favorite part is definitely when Sadiva welcomes in a different part of the sample where the large horns hang over the background and the soulful vocals confidently take center stage with the repetition of "I've got an old soul!!!!!".
