I've been following the works of Sad face. for a damn long while now, and his latest single "next to you" is definitely among his best works to date.

It feels as if we're acquainted to 2 different listening experiences throughout the track by virtue of the marvelous progression and journey-like feel. Towards the halfway mark these silk smooth vocals slip into the mix only to make way for the stunning drop emblazoned with a tastefully distorted lead, and atmospheric pads that adorn the backdrop. I can't neglect to mention the presence of the keys too as that adds to the emotive edge of the track.
