I'm quite a sucker for dreamy tones, and as soon as that gorgeous lead snuck into the mix I was immediately ensnared by the allure of "Arrival".

There is something very nostalgic about this fine piece of music, and this is thanks to the way Rusty Spaceship has structured his melodic progression as the track has quite a deep emotive feel to it that leans towards dejected. Even though it's subtle the inclusion of the sax in the distance adds a soulful element to the track which works very well with the soothing keys too.

This song was inspired by the book version of 2001 A Space Odyssey, and lonely introspection. The idea of having an emotional personal journey, but being all alone and no one to share it with.
