As I mentioned in my Blue Wednesday feature this morning, the new Chillhop Summer Essentials is yet again another flawless release. I really love the diversity when it comes to the track selection and I dare to say the guys have spiraled out of the traditional beat sound at times. Very refreshing!
The compilation features one of my favourite Swiss producers - Ruck P (read our interview with him here) and his low-key beach party jam "Early Morning". Unfortunately, I haven't planned any concrete holidays yet, but I see myself at a beach, sipping Aperol Spritz and head nodding to this tune. The whole thing has a nice 90's scent blended with future elements... add Lucien's traditional guitar lick signature sound and you've got a winner.
This makes life feel so much better and also weirdly sexy.
