Blue Asphalt

Royaume is one of these few emerging French bands that makes you step in a singular kingdom.

With a Lana Del Rey-esque melanchony and a minor piano melody mixed with deep beats, "Blue Asphalt" pours out the pain of a fading love. A catharsis song, perhaps - but it is mostly one of these songs that inhabits your head and gets stuck on your mind for days.
At some point reminding me some Purity Ring's stuff, "Blue Asphalt" is the kind of song that makes you stop whatever task you were doing to compel you to just  listen.
