Romare is an all-powerful God of electronic music and there's no 2nd opinion on that.
We have been closely following the journey towards his and when I say closely, I mean it. I think we featured each of the tracks within an hour of their publishing. If you missed on "Sunshine" and "Gone", you know what to do after spinning "The River" (well, the edited shorter version).
What I appreciate about his music is how perfectly balanced it is between a dancefloor vibe and chilling in the nature kind of scenario. "The River" is homage to soul music and modern electronica. A true and skillfuly designed sound experience.

"The River" is inspired by being in a big space with lots of people listening to loud music - something which can be spiritually uplifting
A reminder - his upcoming full-length album Home will be released on 31 July on Ninja Tune. The release of the record comes after a lifetime of being on the move. Romare spent his childhood traveling constantly with his family as his parents moved around the world for work, before finally settling in the UK. This nomadic lifestyle would continue with his burgeoning career as a musician and playing hundres of live shows across the globe. This series of events bring us to Home, marking a new chapter in his life with a move out of London to the countryside and starting a family, a move which has "given me peace and quiet" he comments.
