On first listen, you'd assume that "Dream of Mine" was releases by a seasoned artist within in the industry. I was taken aback to hear that wasn't the case.
The amount of maturity that pours from Robyn's songwriting and vocal delivery is astounding, to the point where "Dream of Mine" reminds us of acts like Submotion Orchestra or even Kadhja Bonet. I can't neglect to mention the distant wails of the trumpet as they contribute to the soul that's exuded throughout the track.
