Rio Rainz is a distinctive multi-genre act hailing from the UK that started releasing music in 2020. We're welcome to vulnerability, harmonies, and a stellar exhibition of soul on his second release of 2024 "mutual butterflies". I find his verses incredibly beguiling as he is able to be open and raw with his audience whilst having quite a catchy delivery. I have to highlight how the chorus comes to life so beautifully, brought together by warm keys, dreamy guitars, and the subtle presence of strings in the background.
