Hopping on the jazzy train on this mellow autumn Friday.
Our friend RINZ. is back with another stellar tune, this time with fellow Dutch legends DESH & Noé Mina (of Soul Food Horns). "You're on the train home from your latest unforgettable travel adventure," he said.
"Overnight Train" is about that post-travel nostalgia & blues, when you don't want to leave a certain place you grew to love - but you're also keen to get back home. It gives you this smooth, late-night vibe, while simultaneously managing to capture that pacing feeling of traveling on the tracks (I don't know if it's the guitars or the drums, but the groove makes me feel like I'm on a train).
This is part of RINZ.'s upcoming album Along These Lines on which he shares, "It is a sonic exploration that invites listeners to immerse themselves in the vibrant soundscape of a metropolitan city. From captivating rhythms to evocative melodies, this album paints a diverse and vivid musical portrait of urban diversity, taking you along the lines of a city's pulsating heartbeat."
