My first encounter with the vibrant work of REMY QUINN was "I Need U", and the same colorful exuberance found on that track can be spotted across REMY QUINN's latest project Garnet EP.

"Take Me Back" is not only the opener but it's among the brightest gems in his treasury. The rhythm is quite idiosyncratic thanks to the prominent claps and rim shots. However it's his signature vocal samples that breathe life into the track, and I was quite fond of how the lead compliment the bounce and the melodic vibe of "Take Me Back" too.
