Jazz isn't a genre you'll come across frequently on the site, however when you do it's usually littered with a range of accompanying influences and "A Cat Under the Moon" is a marvelous example of this eclecticism.
For the first minute the track starts off in quite a slow manner, and almost out of the blue the pace picks up thanks to the upbeat drums that are beautifully complemented by the dainty bass arrangements. It's the rendezvous between the piano arrangements and the elegant strings which stand out in the mix especially as they keep the progression compelling and provide the track with a charming emotive spark.
