Based in South London, Rayen is a singer/songwriter including influences from a mixed Chilean and English background into her music. The first thing that grabbed my attention about her new track "Stuck" was the stellar drum groove from the rhythm section. It's raw, punchy, and serves as a wonderful contrast to the soothing vocal performance and glittery piano arrangements floating across the mix. Jamal adds to Rayen's relatable themes with a heartfelt rap verse, going deeper into navigating the stress that comes with having to figure everything out as an indie artist.
