Raelle has been on our radar since 2020 but she left me speechless with her single "Stolen" with Collard, S.Fidelity & Gabiga. And her new self-released piece "Pressure" only solidifies that.
The r&b piece tells the story of emotional abuse & rediscovering yourself again - through majestic, honest vocals and empowering instrumental.
Raelle elaborates on the song meaning, “It is a song that represents the closure of a chapter both musically and in my personal life, of holding space for people who take my kindness for weakness, it is the mourning of both myself for the person who was hurt, and to a relationship that truly never was, it is a song about taking back your power and the unsteady in-between journey that it may be”.
"Pressure" is produced & co-written by Gabriel Gifford and live drums from Emanuel J Burton (Little Simz, FKJ, SAULT, Yazmin Lacey), live horns, bass and guitar section, elevating the track even further.
