This next track made me travel through time and smile so, so much.
As soon as Radiance's "Night Stroll" beat kicked in, I couldn't help but think of Commons legendary Like Water for Chocolate. I don't know why, but there was something special about the chilled, laid back beat samples. All of that, however, was shadowed as soon as RAE's vocals kicked in. Then the good old 90's vibe really kicked in. As someone who admired Erykah Badu as a teenager (despite the love for rock music), this felt like a blessing.
The "early 20s mama who's trying to bask in good vibes" is dropping some serious flow and I predict nothing, but greatnesss ahead of the young US artist. "Night Stroll" is a perfect example of how artist nowadays can revive what was good about hip hop and add a modern touch to it.
Definitely a track to play while walking around late at night.
