Excited to have Queen Drie once again in our feed. The Ghanian-American artist, songwriter, and poet impressed us last year with her track "Homosapiens". Her songwriting and performing goal is to motivate and educate people about what it means to be Black and help alter their lives for the better.
Paying homage to the strongest figure in her life, Queen Drie drops a smooth flow paired with bluesy syncopated guitar licks making the whole vibe beautifully playful.
This song is a special song dedicated to my mother, an amazing, strong-willed, courageous, and beautiful black Queen. I want to share it with the rest of the world to capture a glimpse of the love most of us have for our mothers.
