Sometimes when I listen to music, I come across tracks which (and this may sound strange) introduces you to a different world of some sort by virtue of the artists' 'strange' means of production. "Sandstone Labyrinth" by Prizm Wizard is definitely one of those tracks.
Even though one is able to pick out the potential influences of Prizm Wizard, his sound is still very much his own and it's filled with color. His choice in synths are bright and has a rich textural presence, and his drums are sloppy... But in the kind of way that actually describes the amount of swing on them. As the track progresses it literally feels as if an epic story is unfolding.
