Dwelling in the beautiful intersection of neo-soul, indie pop, and indie, Berlin-based 4-piece Prismala creates music that sounds huge. From lush arrangements and playful guitar chords to tight rhythms and vocals that feel liberating, these young folks could easily be the next big thing on the alternative scene.
Their brand new single (released last Friday) "Meditations" combines a groovy hook with socially responsible lyrics that delve into the futility of warfare. A great balance between playful and serious that instantly added a much-needed layer of chill to my summer.
