Ahh, Wallace. So dear to my heart.
The New Zealand future-soul singer is no stranger to us at the Fox and has shown how powerful her voice could be. After a few features, we're honoured to premiere her latest sound adventure - a Nigerian funk inspired track titled "Disapora", produced by Sydney producer Crooked Letter. The track is injected with groove and will simply make you move.
The inspiration behind the track's instrumentals stems from Crooked Letter's family roots and it definitely adds a seriously cool edge to Wallace's vocals. A perfect fit.
Speaking of the "Diaspora", the artist shares:
I wanted to highlight the connection that we both feel towards places where we didn't grow up .We bonded over the idea that looking back at our roots gave us a sense of affirmation and appreciation for what makes us who we are
