If there's one thing which always helps after months of relatively cold and gray weather, that's some proper upbeat sounds. Sounds which we're premiering exclusively today and come from far, far away.
While this may not currently apply in Chris Watts' homeland Australia, where the temp is around 40 degrees, his new track "Let Go" is my personal feel-good-and-don't-mind-that-2-degrees-weather track. The 3+ minutes long indie pop happiness feels like the shortest transportation device to times where... life simply feels a tiny bit more light-hearted.
The Melbourne-based singer/songwriter has some of the grooviest folk/indie/pop tracks ever. I used the days before the premiere to dig into his 2014 EP Back Down (premiered on the notorious Triple J) and it's definitely quite the must-hear.
ps. fact - the track was recorded by Steve Schram (who recorded w/ San Cisco).
