BAILE has beautifully transformed pecq electro pop release "closer" into a progressive, laid-back listening experience that retains the essence of the original.

Brooklyn-based producer Reed Kackley (BAILE) makes texturally rich dance music inspired by house and downtempo. One of the first things that grabbed my attention about his rendition of "closer" was the unique rhythm section. They're vibrant with organic percussive embellishments and fills that sound live as he incorporated elements of UK garage. The dreamy vocals seamlessly float over the presence of glossy, pulsating sound design which certainly adds to the overall groove of the track. Towards the end, the mood changes with the shift into 4/4, creating more of a driving, dance-friendly feel.
