Shangri La's original version is a vibrant summer banger with colorful instrumentation bright enough to turn your day around. Although, I don't think that speaks for everyone.
You see, the even though the original is this 'happy campy' track... Overall it carries a slight sensation cheesyness by virtue of it's commercial appeal. Tone Ranger's rendition on the other hand remains open to all with it's dense classical components and the ambiance created by the airy pad. Something I also found interesting about the remix is how it seems like it is setting us up for a drop. Instead, we're greeted with mellow 'drops' where the instrumentation returns stripped down. In my mind, this is like Kartell meets CFCF and if that sounds tasty... Tone Ranger's rendition is for you!
