Onra is a Parisian producer that I have recently become obsessed with. And boy, what an obsession I have. I really dig the rare combination of instrumental hip hop with old traditional Chinese and Vietnamese influences. The product of such unique combination can be listen to in his Chinoiseries, Pt.1 & Chinoiseries, Pt.2 LPs. And as of today, Chionisieries, Pt. 3 has been released! So there is a heap of material for you guys to check out.
Also, Interesting to note here, is the title of the album. Chinoseries, is derived from the French, and is a term given to the imitation of Chinese traditional influences to art. Onra, being French is the perfect example of a Chinoiserie! Cards well played, Onra!
