Even though there are barely any vocals here, "Look the Other Way" feels very introspective and that's partly due to the overall mood that is created.
When Tank decides to insert his voice, they come across as blurry by virtue of the vocal fx attached. In this instance, Tank uses his voice more so as an instrument to heighten the moody atmosphere already established by the lofty production. The pads created an airy world of weightlessness which we're easily able to lose ourselves in, and this experience was part of the reason we're so mesmerized by "Look the Other Way".
