Now this is the collaboration I've been waiting for: Ólafur Arnalds and Bonobo. This is so damn beautiful and peaceful, and somehow feels like you are getting lost in it. This song's serenity is what we all need right. Arnalds is releasing the new album in November and if this is a teaser of what to expect then I am well excited.
Last year Bonobo and I spent a couple of days in the studio, after traveling and camping together in the Icelandic highlands, with no intention other than to spend some quality time with music. Loom is one of the songs that came from those sessions and as time passed, and I started writing the rest of the album, I kept coming back to it.
