Released via Golden Éire Records, Odd Number's new single "Rom-Com" featuring DeCarteret sounds like an afternoon walk on a beautiful Autumn day. The song explores the complexities of love and life’s twists and is the final single from Odd Numbers' upcoming EP Colours.
I really love DeCarteret’s introspective lyrics on disillusionment and betrayal. Her nostalgic, soulful vocals capture raw emotion, contrasting the fantasy of rom-coms with the harsh reality of broken promises.
The Dublin-based producer elaborates, "After focusing so much on the business side of music, stepping back into production has been a refreshing experience. With Rom-Com, we wanted to capture those bittersweet moments when life throws you off course, but you still manage to find something meaningful in the aftermath."
