What I loved about this track is the fact that it doesn’t entirely feel like a song… With the use of synthesizers and field recordings these guys have literally created an environment that is a delight to the ears and inspires the mind to wonder. A once off listen isn’t enough, lock this track on repeat and with each listening experience sounds that may have previously evaded you will spring into the foreground.
"Euclidean Spiral" has this latent cinematic element to it and through that it feels as if a story unfolding with every second that passes. I loved the larger than life brass-like bass which usually arrives to signal the start of a new chapter. Plus, if you listen carefully you’ll notice how Oblik Lines have used the FULL spectrum of the sonic field by virtue of the thick layers that are present on this track.
Whether you happen to be playing this in the background or intently listening to it, this track is a gift that is able to shift the mood of the room and whatever state you’re in.
