The work of Durham, NC trip hop producer Nym brings the audible and the visible into one realm. Though not visible, His brand of trip hop instills vivid imagery in the mind of listeners. Using boundless, worldly instrumentals and vocal synth work over moving hip hop grooves and driving sub-bass, Nym presents a sonic frontier, which speaks of the craftsmanship behind each work. Though, this sonic frontier seems to serve as the a pull-factor which coaxes listeners toward the rabbit hole.
