No Fun

It's so heart-warming to see 2 artists I love collaborate together. Novo Amor has been my go-to guy in moments of utter mellowness - Ali's music is nothing, but touching and it always easing on the soul. Gia, on the other hand, I discovered thanks to Mark's feature back in 2015 and I fell in love with her voice.

Gia supported Novo Amor on his 2018 tour, so actually the collaboration is not absolutely surprising. Besides this beauty you experience right now titled "No Fun", the guys also released another track by the name "Lucky For You" and if you love acoustic music, you'll be in heaven.

Speaking of how this all came to life, Novo Amor shares...

“Gia and I met in Atlanta last November. It was raining, a lot. We spent the first weeks of winter travelling around the country, playing shows together, recognising our creative likeness and just becoming friends. 'No Fun’ and ‘Lucky For You’ were written and recorded together over a long weekend at my home studio in Wales. We saw a bridge across our usual geographical divide and said “hey, let’s make some music!”. It feels almost against our nature to try and explain this. 

We had no preconceptions. We just love music, the process of making it, how it can make you feel and what it can do for people. I think it’s just something that we wanted to share.
