Once more, Northern Form (PKA Andrew Rothschild) shows how versatile his production skills can be.
His new song "Faoi", is a seamless fusion of downtempo and IDM electronica, creating a unique sound that is both chill and danceable. Its pulsating beats and atmospheric melodies blend together perfectly, creating a mesmerizing soundscape that made me forget about the outside world for a bit.
As the track progresses, it evolves into a dynamic mix of rhythms and textures and will leave you feeling both relaxed and energized at the same time. Weird, I know, but very true. The intricate layers of electronic instrumentation and hypnotic vocal samples create a sonic experience that I personally find absolutely immersive and unforgettable.
"Excited to share the first tune from many that starts slipping into a faster pace. It’s something I’ve been wanting to make and release for a while. I always got caught up in the “brand” aspect and got discouraged, keeping to my usual downtempo slower atmospheric stuff. Got to the point where I had to stop caring about the trivial stuff and keep on releasing music I love that still truly expresses myself.
That said, Faoi is a tune I feel encapsulates being in nature alone. It’s fun to go camping with a group, hiking with friends, etc but there’s something else when you’re alone in nature. Funny enough, you don’t feel alone when you’re engulfed in the wild. I’ll feel more alone out in public around hundreds of people than I do walking by myself without someone around for miles. It’s how I feel at least and I bet others feel the same.", he shares on Instagram.
