If you followed through my previous post about Noname (formelly known as Noname Gypsy) , you would know that I am a big fan of her work, as a leading female voice in hip hop!
She has released a new track from the mysterious, almost mythical, Telefone debut album all her die hard fans are waiting for. "Freedom Interlude" is another track that showcases her solid wordplay along a beautiful composition produced by frequent collaborator Saba and Phoelix. She just has that natural, raw ability to ride a beat with her words fitting every little gap yet still remaining connected to the story she is telling.
The track finishes with an inspiring excerpt from a Nina Simone interview, where she talks about how she understands the the concepts of love and freedom. Enjoy!
