One of the most exciting up-and-coming r&b/neo-soul acts of Amsterdam just dropped a new EP, out via Vokall Records.

Noa Lauryn started in 2020 and two years ago marked her debut album coin collection. Since then, the Dutch singer has been building up to a new project called Always On Time - a collection of 5 tunes, smoother than silk, including the collaboration with Felix Hien ("Layers Of Time"). The EP revolves around themes like self-love, the expectation of working women, and the everyday stress/rush we're always in.

Lauryn adds, “I wrote Always On Time kind of as a joke, ‘cause I notoriously struggle with getting places on time. On the track I sing about the utopian situation if I were the type of person who was always on time and wouldn’t it be great for everyone involved:) At the same time, I’m trying to say as a collective we shouldn’t cling so tightly to schedules and care less about those 10 or 15 minutes.”

The opener "Wasting Time" is a homage to the "art of doing nothing", a reminder to enjoy life, take care of ourselves, and avoid burnout. The song is warm & bright, with a catchy beat, sunny strings, and Noa's soulful vocals.
