This is my first encounter with the Dutch vocalist, DJ, and producer Nicky Elisabeth and I'm already swept off my feet. What I love about "Memories" is how well her airy vocals complement the sound design throughout her production. Through this, she has created a sonic landscape that's lush and evokes a sense of weightlessness. The melodic section is underpinned by raw yet gentle UKG-inspired drums to keep a steady groove going while we drift into relaxation.
