Nia Chennai is back with some new fire.
The London singer, whose "So Pretty When You Cry" blew us away, returns with a new single - "WHO'S THAT GIRL?". Unlike her previous heartbreak-themed releases, this one is empowering & confident and inspiring self-love.
She explains, “The track was inspired by my journey of learning to believe in myself wholeheartedly. I wanted to pour my confidence and manifest my goals into this song. I had been writing a lot about heartbreak previously, but this time I wanted to shift the focus and talk more about how I feel now, and what I want my future to look like. I wanted to instill the confidence and self-belief that I have, in other girls like myself who are trying to make things happen for themselves. I'm at a place in my life where I know what I want and I’ve planned a route on how to attain it and because of that, when I close my eyes and think about my future, my thoughts are as vivid as ever. I want people to listen to the song and feel motivated, like they can do anything they put their mind to because being an ‘IT GIRL’ doesn’t come from being beautiful, it comes from being your best self and recognising it.”
"WHO'S THAT GIRL?" has a captivating '00s r&b aesthetic, with warm guitars and an impeccable groove, with Nia's honest and signature vocal style. The single comes together with a music video you should check below:
