This next track is quite special one and not only because we teamed up with Neon Runner for its release, but because of the magical, seriously uplifting feeling "Sacred Jungle" carries.

I fell in love with the track way before the first proper chord started. There was something about the very few intro sounds which immediately sent me somewhere nice. Like a safe mind space.

I had a chance to chat a bit with Kolby, the guy behind this moniker. Here's what he had to share about his music:

My inspirations come from my surroundings & experiences, my goal as Neon Runner is to stylize them acoustically like heavily synthesized 80's film soundtracks.

With "Sacred Jungle" I was really inspired by nature recording, the crickets and lake sounds you hear in the track were all recorded by me around my small Canadian hometown. I had also been very inspired by Asian instrumentation and with this track I tried to explore that as well! Considering the natural sound I was going for I kind of left some of the sections of the song to be more 'free' than some of my others and some of the parts were done in a single take with only slight editing.
