As soon as I saw this man's name in the submissions I was giddy with delight! I'm quite a fan of NAZAR's works not only because his brand of house reminds me of home (see what I did there), there also tends to be a dark and eerie undertone that shadows the mood of his songs.
"KEEP UP" carries the same pleasantly eerie ether found in previous singles such as "I AND I" and "Restless", what makes this single distinct however are the lively pluck embellishments from what sounds like an oud, or another kind of ethnic instrumentation. I can't neglect to mention the soothing vocals sample which fittingly complements the ethnic feel of the track as it has quite an Arabic influence behind it.
