In the past few days I've been reading a book called The Untethered Soul. Put shortly, it's about self-discovery and basic, but really fundamental aspects of the inner self. I will admit - it's not really topic I'm interested in, but the way this book has been written is quite different. Anyways, I've spend some time thinking a lot of things through and I've been searching for some really enchanting sounds which could help you get absorbed into the now... and the next feature is exactly that.
I'm really happy to share with you an alternative version of Natalie Evans's "Lyre Song" featuring Samuel Organ responsible for the production work. The folk/indie track feels like bridging together Sigur Ros' harp & piano sound architectures and Ben Howards's ability to create intimate acoustic sounds. It's truly mesmerizing and beautifully effortless.
The original is the third single prior's Natalie Evans's official debut album Better At Night is released on 25th May via Small Pond recordings. I'll embed it below, so you can also experience Natalie's original vision for "Lyre Song".
