We've been following the rise of US-based rapper and vocalist NanaBcool for years, and it's beautiful to watch him refine his craft as he grows. This time, he tackles a theme that isn't very common in the rap world and acquaints us with a story between two lovers that are in an "Open Case". His storytelling over the minimal, soulful beat here is smooth yet brimming with emotion thanks to how he describes everything. I particularly loved the last verse as he questions if all of it is even worth it and takes us through the pitfalls of what he's experiencing.
