Apart from the beguiling production, what I truly adored about "Can't Hurt Me Now" is that it strolls the tight rope between 'club-friendly' and a lounge-like listening experience.
The repetition of the "Can't Hurt Me" vocals also inspires the birth of an earworm by virtue of its catchy delivery. I must say, vocals are used quite sparingly on here thus gravitating our attention towards some of the gorgeous instrumental passages within the track. Such as the lush guitars reverberating in the background, the pulsating bass after the drop and my personal favourite. The movement created by the lively percussion.
