The live Chillhop movement seems to be picking up momentum. In an exploding space defined by flipping samples, a select few instrumentalists are leveraging their own instrumental arrangements as main samples.
This sonic laid-back weekend comes thanks to Vancouver beatmaker and guitarist Mr. Stee. Off of his album See You Tomorrow, we get just what we need to recollect and process thoughts, choosing to feel rather than think.
In "Where Did I Just Go" Mr. Stee leads us down a stream of thought with his own watermark guitar riffing and complemented by rhythmical keys, accents of sax samples, and driving auxiliary percussion.
