Moses Yoofee Trio are an absolute delight and always a breath of fresh air in the vast sea of new music.
I'm kicking off my morning coffee routine and the New Music Friday social video with their brand new single titled "BOND". The track is the 4th and last single ahead of their highly anticipated debut album and after a series of strong teases in 2024, we're all on our toes when it comes to the music Yoofee, Noah and Roman have prepared for us.
The trio elaborates, "we love that tune especially because it’s just piano, drums and bass, classic piano trio set up", and while they keep it minimalistic when it comes to the number of instruments used, "BOND" offers a mind-blowing and beautifully experience where the ease of the piano is juxtaposed against the powerful and dynamic drumming, both glued by the power of bass.
The upcoming Moses Yoofee Trio record is expected on Feb 7th, so certainly stay tuned for more from the Berlin-based musicians.
