You know... A part of me is low-key inspired by the listening experience catered to us on "W.T.F". I love how simple the production is, yet it's still able to adequately carry the attention of the listener from start to finish.
When it came to the rhythm, chromatic percussion keeps the groove going especially the shakers and the clav hits. Something I also noticed about "W.T.F" is how the builds are accentuated by risers and pitch shifts - to the point where they become salient moments within the track. I can't neglect to mention the bass and its beefy presence particularly because it stands out in the mix like a sunflower in a haystack.
