Soaked in gentle melancholy, Miyuki Kuzuoka's "Sadness" is a beautiful Asian-inspired instrumental.
Besides a lofi music producer, Miyuki is also a sound designer, multi-instrumentalist and singer, who likes to create in different genres. For this track, she got inspired by her Japanese roots and incorporated melodic elements from Taiko and Shamisen (traditional instruments), together with moving guitar melodies. She shares:
“Sadness” is about a love that will not return, but the person still awaits its return. I hope everyone can feel it from the bottom of their hearts.
The composition is part of the Beat Queens compilation, which dropped last month. Stream all tracks here.
