Last year, on this day, we honoured the birthdays days of J Dilla and Nujabes - two of the most admired, inspirational, and timeless producers.

This collection of beautiful beats from around the world is a sign of eternal gratitude for their art. Thank you for shaping and nurturing a whole generation of beatmakers today. The number of artists who I look up to, love, and respect and who today posted about their birthday and how they touched their lives, motivated them to create music and the fact that they still "take notes" (as Flamingosis shared on Facebook earlier today)... all of this is staggering. A true evidence of how important Dilla & Nujabes' legacy is.
