Oakland band Meernaa's music is an intoxicating mix of r&b and post-rock or as they put it "like a fantasy designed by Solange and Grizzly Bear on mushrooms".

Formed by Carly Bond (vocals, guitar) and Rob Shelton (keys) in 2015 who along with Andrew Maguire (drums) and Doug Stauart (bass)instantly caught my ear with their-uniquely warming compositions.

Kicking off with a lonesome guitar plucks, Bond soon joins with her heartwarming vocals which are met with gentle layers of keys, bass and percussion.

This might just be my favourite track from Meernaa so far, listen to the lovely “Good Luck” below.
