Saturday morning. Coffee, chia + oat meal and an hour of laid back chilling before going off to rather busy day. While later in the day I'll find myself blasting hardcore at the gym, I really needed some good vibes this morning and MAXN's "Off Day" is exactly what I was looking for.
This gem sounds as if Daft Punk were to make r&b and soul. Yeah, pretty unconventional, yet mesmerizingly beautiful. After several years of living in LA as a successful sideman and having played and recorded keyboards with artists such as American Idol winner Maddie Poppe, Raquel Rodriguez, Harry Mack, and Lila Drew, MAXN aka Max Naseck, is on his path to solo career. The track I'm sharing with you is part of his debut 5-track EP which was released a few days ago.
