Sometimes you don't know what you want to listen to and crave for something rather subtle, but still engaging. For that kind of moments, here's a track that offers a truly immersive sonic environment without being too overwhelming.
"Sable" is an electronica cut, sliding on the edge of downtempo and triphop. Arpeggiated synths, grounding bass and moving vocal textures - the composition is certainly not for everyone but for deep-divers.
To understand better the concept behind the track, you need to know a bit more about the story of Maury111, the character created by the french singer, songwriter, and producer Benjamin Ruby. He came up with this monicker during a moment of epiphany, during a music retreat in the countryside of France organised with Facundo Rodriguez (Chien Méchant) and Basile Monsacré (Egregore), his two lifetime friends and musical journey brothers ever. He shares:
It's in that 111 that lies the key. It was when I felt the universe as a whole that I understood what I had to do. I knew I had to talk about this spiritual discovery. There were three of us and everything was just one.
"Sable" carries exactly this special connection to the invisible that binds us all together into the meta-web of existence.
