What a delight in my ears! Matt Wilde's "Figuring" is everything I wanted on one of the first summer days in Berlin: it just sounds so so happy and full of optimism. I can't say that I'm the biggest connoisseur of the beats space, but I know a gem when I hear one. The instrumentals are fantastic: bass, violins, and jazzy piano. It all just works so well with calm beats.
Matt Wilde is a Manchester-born keyboard player and producer whose music blends jazz-inspired keys, rich harmonies and pocketed drums. "Figuring" is the second single from Wilde's debut album Hello World, and it's obvious that Matt is here to stay and occupy a very important space in the beats/jazz space.
