In case you were wondering, no. There aren't any typos that have been made, it's just how the title is spelt/styled. This isn't relatively new, nor old - been about 7 months since its initial release. It has pretty good coverage, but it could use a deserving nudge into the limelight.
LA-based producer Matt Dimona describes "Malibuu" as, "a song about chasing a feeling." It is one out of five tracks off his EP, Up All Night.
My goal for this EP was to create a cohesive sonic world over multiple tracks. My concept for the EP was to tell a story that takes place over one day and night spent in Los Angeles; all these songs are based off real experiences I had while I finished up my last semester at USC.
I don't exactly know how to put this into words. I feel like I have a better sense of understanding of who DiMona after listening to this. It has a down-to-earth, mellow-ness. Credits to Renaldo, she adds warmth to the sunset hues this song gives out.
As much as it is comforting to hear in the warm sheets in bed, it also encourages you to blast this in the car whilst wandering down the streets.
