Maribou State's much anticipated new album, Hallucination Love, arrives at the end of January, and their latest release "All I Need" serves as yet another teaser to get us excited about it
The sound of Maribou State continuously transports us to yesteryears as they blend electronic music with an organic, soulful touch. "All I Need" features the angelic vocals of the highly-esteemed Andreya Triana, and she has managed to bring forth such a nostalgic charm with her performance. This is heightened by the embellishment of organs and lively guitars, although it's really the mixing that grabbed my attention here. I loved that "All I Need" is purposefully rough around the edges, its unpolished touch adds the track's identity and emotional depth.
